Lagos Hotels Are Ready For Propak West Africa | Nigerian Casinos

Propak West Africa is the largest packaging, food processing, plastics, labeling, and print exhibition show in West Africa. The trade show is taking place in Lagos from Tuesday, 18 September up to Thursday, 20 Sep 2018 at the Landmark Village in Water Corporation Road on Victoria Island.

Propak West Africa stems from the largest and most successful packaging and printing brand of exhibitions in Africa. Boasting with the market-leading exhibition in East Africa and South Africa, the organizers truly know the market in Africa and how to attract the best people. In having three exhibitions in the ‘corners’ of Africa, it allows companies to access the three main markets in Sub-Saharan Africa, through a tried and trusted exhibition, and the huge potential that they each offer.

The opening hours are from 9 am to 5 pm on Tuesday and from 9 am to 4 pm on Thursday. Some of the product categories that will be on display in the exhibition hall include:

  • Injection molding equipment,
  • Processing aids,
  • Blow molding equipment,
  • Extrusion equipment,
  • Label machinery and consumables,
  • Packaging and ancillary machinery,
  • Packaging supplies,
  • Printing machinery and equipment, and more.

A number of experts will be leading discussions on themes affecting the packaging and print industry in Nigeria, West Africa as well as abroad. Some of this year’s speakers include:

  • Bmidele Akinnola, Managing Director, Meyer PLC
  • Wilson Ukor Obiajulum, Packaging Manager, Nestle
  • Philipe Delouche, Managing Director, Tetra Pak West Africa
  • Ajani Sakirdeen Abidemi, Deputy Director and Head of Division, Packaging Technology Division, FIIRO
  • Clara Amarteifio-Taylor, Senior Manager, PWC

Afrocet Montgomery, who has been running high-end exhibitions and events in West Africa for many years, is organizing the conference and trade show. There were 3 261 attendees and 135 exhibitors from over 30 countries at last year’s event. Throughout the three days, the aisles were busy with industry stakeholders prospecting and discussing the newest technologies and services available for their industry. According to feedback from attendees, 83% thought the event was well organized, 63% of visitors came to identify or purchase new products and solutions, and 86% felt the visitors accurately represented the market.
